For example, using outboard preamps in the signal path, you would need a direct channel insert. Answer  You’re a Mac person, aren’t you? A likely cause is that a period was used in the name of the audio track that’s causing the problem. Let’s say you named a track “Vocals.Buffy”. The DAW utility is looking for “.wav” files, not “.Buffy.wav” files so the track will not be exported. Remove the period from the track’s file name and try again.
